anyhoo, i just got oblivion for my pc and already i've played 16 hours and david has played 7. we both love it. it's such a huge game and the gameplay is really open. and the graphics are just gorgeous on my new computer. oh and a few hours of halo 2 in there as well.

i just got a letter (yesterday, but i was too busy playing oblivion to get it then) from adaptasoft. letters are never a good sign, especially when they use the word "however" in it. so it looks like i'll still be in urbana this summer, but i'll really have to limit my oblivion playing time so that i can keep searching for a job. maybe i'll hire a head hunter and let him do all the work. there's still a good chance i'll move in with caleb (it's the only place i have to go).

good news with my side projects though! i finally succeeded with my first version of a shoutbox/guestbook. you can view it here. and for all you sudoku fans, i also made a solver here. i hope you all post something on my shoutbox. i added a lot of (what i think are) cool features. and it was challenging and stimulating and fun. they may run a little slow, but that's because i turned my older computer into a webserver and that's what they're running off of. just be patient, they'll load. let me know if you run into any bugs (please be detailed) or if you have any other ideas you think i should add. they may look pretty plain, but it took a lot of work to get all the stuff running in the background. next, i think i'm going to try to learn how to do passwords and usernames.
